The Mom Owned Business Group is a monthly networking / accountability group for just that – moms who own businesses. The group members support each other with business advice, professional development, accountability sessions and more. Two groups are currently meeting from 9:30 – 11am on the first Wednesday of the month and the second Thursday of the month.
Every other month, the group hosts a speaker. Subject matter is inspired by group discussions and member input, and our meetings are in a round table / Q&A format as opposed to presentations. Past speaker subjects have included workshops on goal setting, SEO, and instagram, discussions on the best apps, tools and organization methods and case studies of veteran small businesses.
Members have found the group to be a good source for referrals and brainstorming. Cost is $75 per year (running Nov – October; can join mid-year but price will not be prorated).
